Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms then you may not access the Service.

1. Service Description

PDFTableConverter.com provides an online tool for extracting tabular data from PDF files and converting it into Excel (XLSX) format. The Service includes features such as file upload, automatic table detection, manual region selection for table extraction, and download of the converted data.

2. Accounts

When you create an account with us (e.g., via Google OAuth), you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current. You are responsible for safeguarding the password or access method that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your account.

You agree not to disclose your password or share your account with any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content in our sole discretion.

3. User-Uploaded Content (PDF Files)

You retain all ownership rights to the PDF files you upload to the Service ("User Content"). By uploading User Content, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify (solely for the purpose of data extraction), and process such User Content strictly for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of uploading it. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload your User Content and to grant us the license described above.

We are committed to the privacy and security of your User Content. Uploaded files are processed securely. As part of our data retention policy, uploaded PDF files and their converted Excel counterparts stored temporarily on our servers are automatically and permanently deleted after 24 hours from the time of upload or generation. We do not access, view, or use your User Content for any purpose other than providing the table extraction service.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service are available only through paid subscriptions ("Subscriptions"). Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (either monthly or annually, "Billing Cycle"), as selected by you.

At the end of each Billing Cycle, your Subscription will automatically renew under the exact same conditions unless you cancel it or PDFTableConverter.com cancels it. You may cancel your Subscription renewal either through your online account management page (Stripe Customer Portal) or by contacting PDFTableConverter.com customer support.

A valid payment method, including credit card, is required to process the payment for your Subscription. You shall provide PDFTableConverter.com with accurate and complete billing information. By submitting such payment information, you automatically authorize PDFTableConverter.com (via its payment processor, Stripe) to charge all Subscription fees incurred through your account to any such payment instruments.

All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities, and you shall be responsible for payment of all such taxes, levies, or duties.

PDFTableConverter.com, in its sole discretion and at any time, may modify the Subscription fees. Any Subscription fee change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle. We will provide you with reasonable prior notice of any change in Subscription fees to give you an opportunity to terminate your Subscription before such change becomes effective.

Except when required by law, paid Subscription fees are non-refundable.

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Service:

The Service and all its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of PDFTableConverter.com and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of Italy and foreign countries. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without the prior written consent of PDFTableConverter.com.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service. If you have an active subscription, you should cancel it via the Stripe Customer Portal.

All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

8. Disclaimers of Warranties

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.

PDFTableConverter.com, its subsidiaries, affiliates, and its licensors do not warrant that a) the Service will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location; b) any errors or defects will be corrected; c) the Service is free of viruses or other harmful components; or d) the results of using the Service will meet your requirements or be accurate or reliable.

While we strive for accuracy in data extraction, the accuracy of the extracted data depends on the quality and format of the uploaded PDF files. Users are solely responsible for verifying the accuracy and completeness of all converted data before use. PDFTableConverter.com does not constitute financial, legal, or any other type of professional advice.

9. Limitation Of Liability

In no event shall PDFTableConverter.com, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service, including any reliance on the accuracy or completeness thereof; and (iv) unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage, and even if a remedy set forth herein is found to have failed of its essential purpose.

Our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the Terms or your use of the Service, regardless of the form of action, is limited to the amount you have paid us for the Service in the 12 months prior to the claim arising (or $100, if you have not made any payments).

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless PDFTableConverter.com and its licensee and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees), resulting from or arising out of a) your use and access of the Service, by you or any person using your account and password; b) a breach of these Terms, or c) User Content uploaded to the Service.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree to submit to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within Italy to resolve any dispute or claim arising from these Terms or the Service.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address associated with your account. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our Service after any revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, you are no longer authorized to use the Service.
